2 weeks down, a life time to go

Week 3 of the challenge began today. While the last 4 or 5 days have been relatively ache and pain free, today my legs are really sore from my workout. I stayed and did both hours this morning, so I won’t have to go back tonight, and I’m thinking that is what did it. Saturday, at the nutrition seminar, we found out the results of the group competition and the purple team didn’t do so well. I hope that isn’t a sign of things to come. However, the purple team did have the highest % of weight lost last week, so that is good. I just hope I can contribute again to that loss like I did last week.

The whole “healthy eating” thing is getting harder. This weekend I wanted pizza in a big bad way but settled for diet hot chocolate. It was extremely unsatisfying. Why are the tasty things in life so bad for us. I’m craving cheese, butter, hot french bread, and even a big juicy hamburger but I’m eating triscuits and raisins for lunch. I feel gypped! Ah, well. Tomorrow we have our first spinning class. I expect I’ll be dead shortly after it ends!

Ahh Spinning! Prepare to have a sore bum!

Way to go. I so proud of you!!! You can do it.

  3. Bridge Said:

Good luck! I hate spinning, as I told you before…

  4. Auntie L Said:

Triscuts and raisins instead of a hamburger, I can see why you weren’t satisfied. Nothing beats a hamburger, nothing in the world except maybe a rib eye steak. Good luck

Don’t get down. It was nice talking to you tonight, I’m busting with pride and don’t envy the pain in your rear you will be feeling tomorrow. If you have a friend who has a gel filled bike seat cover I would nab it!

spinning is so hard core. holy #$%! NO GOOD. lol.

i love triscuits…with laughing cow cheese. is that allowed on your diet? laughing cow is absolutely AMAZING on a triscuit.

and you only want that food b/c you can’t have it. here’s a good pizza recipe that i love (and it’s low cal, too).

1 pita pocket (read the label…choose one with fiber)
2-3 T pizza sauce (spaghetti, marinara, whatever)
6-7 slices turkey pepperoni (can use lean ham or canadian bacon and/or veggies, too)
1/8 cup shredded low fat cheese

bake at 400 til the cheese is melty and the crust is crisp. that means i have no idea how long to bake it for. you have to figure it out. 😀

it is NOT domino’s…but it helps you get over the pizza craving. turkey pepperoni is decent, honestly. i don’t know what the calorie count is on this, but i think it’s right around 400…less than 500.

  7. I love laughing cow on triscuits! Each wedge is only 50 cals, which is awesome! Thanks for the pizza recipe too. I can’t wait to try it.
